PLEASE! STOP Focusing on the GDI Opportunity!
I posted this advice in the GDI forum some time ago and based on the feedback, I thought I’d post it here for future reference whenever I get into GDI discussions:

Here’s what is probably the best advice I can give to newbies promoting GDI: STOP Focusing on the GDI Opportunity. . .Otherwise you’re going to continue running into “nay sayers” with the following type comments:
“…but, like most pyramids those at the top make the money while those at the bottom make little or no money at all.”
There are ALOT of people out there that know [in their minds] this to be a fact about GDI. Here is American Heritage Dictionary definition of a pyramid scheme:
n. A fraudulent moneymaking scheme in which people are recruited to make payments to others above them in a hierarchy while expecting to receive payments from people recruited below them. Eventually the number of new recruits fails to sustain the payment structure, and the scheme collapses with most people losing the money they paid in.
Folks, we aren’t recruiting people to pay us anything!! We earn commissions for referring others to GDI hosting. Remember that. Clients get a .WS domain name, 100mb of webspace (with hosting) and 10 email accounts. Which leads into the next obstacle you’re run across:
“…The problem I have with GDI…. is that you can get better hosting (with all the bells & whistles that GDI offers) for cheaper ($4-6 a month)”
This is a very true statement — BUT — that company offering the cheaper hosting doesn’t provide you with the opportunity to earn residual income through 5 levels. ‘Nuff said on this one.
Then you get comments like…
“…Here is where I dislike the program: you cannot seperate the two, the opportunity from the services. If you try to sell just the services you have to do it by trying to sell the opportunity thats what I dislike in the first place. You only get an affiliate site that markets the opportunity not an affiliate site that markets just the services.
Makes it difficult and confusing for new comers and is not really set up to attract customers just affiliate agents. In that sense of the word it can be close to being considered a scam. I can help you find hosting for 5 pages at 5 dollars a month and a domain name for 9 dollars a year. Thats cheaper than GDI $51 dollars cheaper.”

Everyone should do something with their hosting besides using it as a referral link.
I see it all over the internet. “1000’s of people worldwide are earning quiet fortunes, from their homes, even while they sleep. Are you next? Get started for free right now!” and all the others.
This leads people to believe they will become very successful, maybe not overnight, but soon. For online marketing newbies (the target market of pretty much everyone here), This is just NOT going to happen. Results will be different for everyone, but you may have to re-evaluate your goals if you think you will be earning a substantial income within the first year.
I don’t like the above ad created by GDI because 7 days is just not enough time to evaluate any program. And then having to call them to cancel your membership if decide to cancel after the trial period. What about the non-U.S. folks? Not very fair, but not my rules. I do make sure ALL my prospects are aware of this though.
I don’t know much, but I know this: GDI is long term and takes a long-time. You have a website, use it to earn some short-term cash while you build your future.
I hope at least one person find this bit if info helpful in someway.

Saya tidak akan bercerita panjang atau menceritakan sesuatu yang luar biasa, seperti berbagai skim atau program sekarang ini yang menyatakan jika kita menyertainya kita akan mendapat pulangan beribu atau berjuta ringgit keesokan harinya. Saya akan menceritakan bagaimana saya memdapatkan wang melalui program yang asli dan memberi pulangan yang setimpal dengan usaha kita.
Saya menyertai GDI lebih kurang lapan bulan yang lalu, bulan pertama dapat sikit sahaja, lebih kurang RM20, bulan kedua naik dengan agak ketara sehingga RM330, bulan ketiga RM1,200, bulan keempat RM2,100 dan sekarang bulan kelapan pendapatan sudah pun memcecah RM9,000. Jika anda perhatikan pendapatan itu bertambah setiap bulan. Wang tersebut saya dapat melalui cek dan saya bank in kan.
Saya menceritakan perkara ini kerana ianya asli, memang dapat duit betul-betul dan ianya mudah (walau pun agak banyak kerja dan masa yang diperlukan diperingkat awal). Kos nak mulakan sangat murah, semua orang mampu, kita boleh promosikan GDI ni dari rumah atau pejabat sahaja, depan komputer, asalkan ada line internet dah cukup. Dan satu lagi kita boleh promosikan keseluruh dunia, maknanya market kita sangat sangat luas.

Apakah GDI tu?
GDI merupakan salah sebuah kompani di USA ( Dah masuk sembilan tahun mereka beroperasi) yang menyewakan tapak hosting untuk web site kita dengan sewaan 10USD sebulan. Lebih kurang RM37 sebulan sewa yang kita kena bayar. Itu ajelah modal yang perlu kita sediakan.
Macammana nak buat duit dengan GDI ni?
Kita promosikan GDI supaya orang lain lain pun join sekali. GDI bagi dua pendapatan.
1. Upah Mencari orang baru. Setiap minggu dari hari Isnin ke hari Ahad malam, setiap 5 orang baru yang kita bawak masuk, kita dapat upah RM350. Kalau 10 orang kita dapat RM700 dan seterusnya. Minggu berikutnya mula dengan pengiraan baru.
2. Komisyen. Setiap orang baru yang kita bawak masuk kata akan dapat komisyen sebanyak RM3.50 setiap orang dan setiap bulan. Kalau dapat 10 orang, maknanya kita dapat RM35 setiap bulan. Kalau yang 10 orang tadi bawak masuk 3 orang sahaja setiap orang, maknanya level kedua kita seramai 30 orang. Bulan depanya kita akan dapat 10+30 = 40USD lebih kurang RM140. Kita akan dapat komisyen sehingga lima level, itulah pencen kita.
Contoh kalau kita dapat lima orang sahaja, dan yang lima tadi pun dapat lima orang juga dan seterusnya, berapa yang kita dapat

Apa yang perlu ada untuk kita mulakan?
Tentulah internet dan kedua Kredit kad. Pasal GDI nak tolak duit sewa tadi tu melalui kredit kad. Kalau tak ada kredit kad, dapat kan debit kad, tapi pastikan ada duit tiap-tiap bulan RM37 dalam debit kad tu, baru dia orang boleh kutip duit sewa. Kalau tak ada jugak debit kad, pinjamlah kredit kad kawan-kawan dan bayar je kat dia RM37 tiap-tiap bulan.
Bila boleh mulakan?
Sekarang pun boleh. Bila kita register, dah boleh terus buat promosi, walau pun kita dapat 7 hari free, hari kelapan baru GDI ambil duit sewa tapak tadi tu. Tapi hari pertama kita dah boleh jalankan promosi besar besaran.
Macamana nak buat promosi, saya bukan pandai sangat nak cakap, lagi satu bukan ada masa nak keluar rumah ke hujung ke pangkal?
GDI dah siapkan cara promosi paling mudah. Dapatkan nama dan email kawan-kawan, masukkan dalam ruangan "Jemputan" (Invite) dan klik 'Hantar:". Yang lain semua GDI buat. 3. Cara membuat website dengan nama domain anda....
Anda Membuat Web Site
Ada 2 cara untuk membuat website di GDI, yaitu cara pertama dengan membuat di aplikasi website seperti dreamweaver, frontpage dst. Cara kedua yaitu dengan site builder yang disediakan dari GDI (Wizards).
1. Cara Pertama
Di sini akan dibahas cara pertama.
Masuk ke area member: http://website.ws/members
Masukan username dan password, pilih Built your site di menu domain:
Lalu pilih Continue. Dalam waktu beberapa menit Basic Hosting sudah siap. Basic Hosting artinya file-file website kita diletakan di server GDI.
Setelah selesai membuat di dreamweaver, file-file yang telah anda buat harus di letakan di server. Untuk itu diperlukan aplikasi FTP (File Transfer Protokol). Free FTP antara lain: FileZilla
Setelah filezilla diinstall di PC anda, jalankan aplikasi FileZilla , masukan di kolom host= ftp.hosting.ws lalu kolom user name= username anda (contohnya jobislands), kemudian masukan password anda, kolom port dikosongkan saja. Lalu tekan Quict Connect
Selang beberapa saat dikolom kanan muncul lambang folder, klik folder tersebut, akan muncul nama folder sesuai dengan username anda.
Blok seluruh file dan folder yang akan diupload, lalu klik kanan mouse, pilih upload, tunggu sampai semua file dan folder diupload ke server. Setelah selesai, silahkan testing domain anda dengan cara diketik nama domain di browser anda.
2. Cara Kedua
Pilih Menu Site Builder, lalu masukan teks anda dan gambar-gambar anda. Cara kedua mempunyai keterbatasan kreasi, karena mengikuti template yang disediakan oleh GDI, tetapi ini cara paling praktis.
Penjelasan dari menu di atas:
Site Builder : Wizards dari GDI dengan menggunakan template yang telah dibuat oleh GDI. Cukup memasukan teks dan gambar yang kita butuhkan
Domain Forwarding : Jika anda sudah mempunyai website lain dan ingin diarahkan ke website ini, silahkan manfaatkan fasilitas ini.

How to setup your Email
GDI offers you four options for your email. You can use their web interface which is like a Yahoo or Hotmail interface or you can set your email to be collected through your regular email program like Outlook or Eudora. If you use the web interface you can get your email from any computer anywhere. The web interface is at http://www.Email.ws/. If you use the conventional approach you have to set each computer up individually to fetch the email for a particular address.
You can create as many as ten under your new domain name.
1. Go to your main login page,

2. Login to the main control panel.
3. Go down the menu on the left and click on "Email".
4. You should see a panel that looks like this:-

1. Scroll down to "Create New Mailbox" and put in your first e-mail name. You can use upper case or lower case or sentence case as email addresses are not CaSe SEnsITIve.
2. Then enter your first and last name.
3. Make sure the field marked "Email Address contains an EXISTING email address not the one you have just created. Your confirmation will be sent to this address. DO NOT PUT THE EMAIL ADDRESS YOU ARE CREATING IN THIS FIELD. If you have some other email address put it in the "Copy me at" box for added security.
4. PLEASE PRINT THE PAGE WITH ALL THE FIELDS FILLED IN SO YOU HAVE A RECORD OF WHAT YOU DID.
5. Hit the "Create" button.
6. On the next screen, type in the temporary password you see written in red. Please print this page as well before you hit "Confirm".
7. You should now get a message with the following message "Mailbox created successfully for yournewemail@yournewdomain.ws."
8. After you have created them, I would suggest going straight to http://www.email.ws and signing in. You will have to use that temporary password for each mailbox.
9. You can then repeat the process for more new e-mail addresses
10. Once you are in one of your new mailboxes, change your password to something you will remember ? you will be taken directly to a page to do that. Fill in the new password and pick two password security questions to answer. Once more, print this page so you have a hard copy. Hit the "Continue" button.
11. Reconfirm and hit the "Continue" button again.
12. You are then taken directly into your mailbox.
13. If you would like to have the mail from that box forwarded to your original e-mail address (the one you gave GDI when you signed up), then click on the green script in the upper right hand corner that says "E-mail forwarding is currently OFF"
14. Fill in the e-mail address you want mail forwarded to and hit the "Update" button.
15. If you want all your email forwarded, you must do this for each e-mail address you just created.

4.This will take you to a page where you should see the default setting for your new domain which should look something like this:-
#There are five options.
1.I want to use the WebSite Builder Templates to build my own WebSite.
2.I want to use Automatic Forwarding Service (forward both your domain and email)
3.WebSite.ws' Hosting Service. You can use your own application to build your site and we can host it for you.
4.I want to "park" my domain on WebSite.ws' nameservers. My replicated WebSite will be displayed until I decide to do something else with my domain.
5.I will provide my own nameservers.
This is what each of the 5 options does:-
#We will deal with option 4 first:-
Choose this option if you just want to do nothing with your domain name. For example, you just want to reserve it for future use and you are just protecting your name. In parked mode there is no email forwarding service.
#On to option 5:-
This option is for the more experienced surfer who wants to build his own website and host it somewhere other than at GDI. You pay the hosting costs over and above the $10 you are paying to GDI to host elsewhere. In this option you only need to fill in the name server names - the IP addresses are not necessary but you should fill them in if you have them. You need your own website building software such as Frontpage or Dreamweaver or Hotdog and an FTP program like WS FTP or Cute FTP for this.
#Option 3:-
This option is also for the more experienced webmaster. You need your own website building software such as Frontpage or Dreamweaver or Hotdog and an FTP program like WS FTP or Cute FTP for this. If you choose this option, you will get a message which says "Hosting for yournewdomain.ws Activated Successfully! Check your original email address for instructions (it may take a few minutes for the email to arrive). In this option GDI host your site at no extra cost, but you have to build it yourself and upload it to the FTP address specified in their email to you.
#Option 2:-
This is the general default option. What this does is point all the emails to the address you ORIGINALLY signed up with. So fred@yournewname.ws and mary@yournewname.ws and yourdogfido@yournewname.ws all go to whatever address you originally signed up with. The second part of this setting forwards your new domain to your GDI presentation page. So if you type http://www.yournewdomain.ws/ into the address bar in your browser, you will end up at you personal GDI presentation site. Your GDI presentation site will have a url like http://website.ws/userid This is the default setting. While you are learning the ins and outs always set your domain back to this setting when you leave.

In the default setting, if you click on the word "forwarding" you will go to a screen where you can change either the email address all your mail gets forwarded to or the website where your new domain points to. Remember to hit the "update" button if you change the settings. If you don't want to build your site and just want to promote the GDI system, leave the settings on the default setting and give everyone your new website address and they will automatically go to your presentation page.

Global Domains International websites are different in that even a novice can quickly learn to built a 10 page website thanks to the inbuilt editor or sitebuilder.
You enter your domain through the 'domain' tab and then click on 'built my website'. From there click on create new page. I find it easiest just to click this 10 times and create 10 pages. There are a number of templates and designs you can choose from, choose a theme that fits in with your aim. Next click on the edit button and the page comes up. At the bottom of the page there are three display options, Design, HTML, and Preview. Design allows easy typing in of text and importing photos. HTML is for seeing your HTML code and the easiest place to copy and paste your banner codes and affiliate codes. The preview gives a hint of how your site will look. When you click you can choose what to insert - click just blank place holder or click the options of adding HTML code - this is the easiest way then you just have to click edit. Create a number of placeholders. If you don't use them you can always delete them later. Remember you can only have two thousand characters per placeholder. For large pages just simply create more placeholders. Ten should give you plenty of options.
Above the page is a number of options with the layout similar to a word processor - very simple - font, text size, text colour, import photo (you will be required to upload the file to your gallery first - do this by simply uploading the picture file off your desktop), and a button to add URL link. These are the major buttons to build your website. Its easiest to just type your text first and then highlight the portions you want to change the size, color, bold, underline, etc.
The add URL link button is easy to use just click and highlight the text you want to add a URL link to and a box with come up with the link - type in your link http://www.mygreatsite.ws. Although your website comes with tabs it can be handy to put a link to the next page at the bottom of your page (i.e. NEXT PAGE - highlight it and add a URL link - http://www.yoursitename.ws/page2.html - only the 'NEXT PAGE' will be display but when you click on it, it will take the reader to the next page. If you want to get really fancy include page numbers and a link to each page - though this is more time consuming to do and I want my visitors to go from page to page in a specific order).
Within the editor you can also edit the 'properties' and 'additional properties' of the page. This includes title, page title, meta tags, and page description - all of which helps with search engine optimization.
These basics should get you started, from there your imagination is the only limit.

The Importance of Domain Names
Domain Names are becoming a very important part of our lives. They are increasingly more important in our personal lives, in our work environments and in business circles.
Just how important are they today?
In most work places the employees name has become the main id attached to the company address i.e. colin.thomson@abccompany.co.uk for all correspondence, with the company domain name as the main part of that address.
Business’s the world over, where they have managed to, are obtaining the Domain Names of their companies for obvious reasons. So important has this become that those with incredible foresight bought Domain Names of companies the world over, hoping that one day they could sell them to those specific companies at grossly inflated prices.
It worked!! Domain Names are very important.
They are very unique, like your finger prints, there is not one finger print matching mine anywhere on this entire planet. Your own email address or your own ‘’url’’ are completely unique and it is impossible for 2 people to have the same one.
Today we are privileged to be able choose our very own email address and domain name, if they haven’t already been used someone else!!
This is though getting incredibly, but not surprisingly, more difficult to do now that the internet and computers have become such a vital part of our lives. GDI - Global Domains International Inc. Review
If you have been on the internet for any length of time looking at business options you will eventually come across someone promoting GDI to you. So this article is to answer some of the basic questions about GDI. Is this Business opportunity a scam? Do they have a product or service that is worthwhile? What is the potential of this opportunity? I will seek to answer these questions as objectively as possible.
Scam!?
If you have come to this article you are probably already considering whether GDI is a serious business opportunity or a scam! To determine if GDI is a scam the first question one must ask is are they marketing a worthwhile product or service or are they just another MLM or pyramid designed to take your money without giving you anything other than promises of great rewards and riches? The answer yes they have a genuine product/ service. In this case web hosting.
The Service Outlined
They provide a web hosting service. It is true you can get free website hosting on the net, in fact this very article is an example of a free web host and you can get good results from them, but there are a number of things you sacrifice.
Firstly if you are using a free web host provider there is always some form of cost, normally they require you to carry free ads on your site. (web1000 is an exception but you can't even put banners on it and its editor is painful to use).
While having ads on your website at first this may not seem to be a problem, consider this, if you want this site to be your main business portal and hub, you may end up advertising your biggest competitor, not a smart move. You don't have ownership of your site. You may own the intellectual material but if the free web hoster changes their rules, goes out of business or just updates the way their system works there is not a thing you can do about it. Even with blogger you have to share your adsense revenue with them 50-50. That's why I recommend if you are serious about having an online business your main site be one that you own and that means paying for it. Also after I lost 48 blogs overnight because blogger felt they didn't all fit with their terms of service you learn - you get what you pay for.
In the case of GDI this means $10 a month. That's US Dollars, so if you are in Australia like me, thats not so good, if you operate in Euro's or pounds, thats great for you. For that you get a web site, 10 pages (plus a feedback and guest page 12 total), 10 e-mail addresses and a domain name, its also includes a domain/site builder, domain and e-mail forwarding, use your own web builder, parking service. However each page can have a huge amount of data. The 10 e-mail address means if you have 10 different businesses, affliliates programs or whatever you can devote an individual e-mail to each one and can with the forward even arrange to have them forwarded to a single box.
The other great advantage is the ability to choose a domain name. Most of the good .com names are long since gone. Further in the case of many of the other endings like .au, .us, .uk, etc many companies exist solely in buying up the best domain names to make a killing selling them to someone else at highly inflated prices. GDI with the .ws avoids this pitfall by ensuring the domain name is not sold as a separate entity, but only with the web hosting service. This stops domain name hording in its tracks. .ws is still new and now is the time to get the domain name you want. No additional $20 yearly fee for just the domain name registration.
The Business Opportunity
The fact is not everyone out there needs a web host. Let's examine why one has a website. Normally one either has a website for one of two reasons - BUSINESS or PERSONAL.
In the case of personal websites many people want their own personal e-mail addresses and have a website for a number of reasons, stay in touch with family with an open letter, express their beliefs or opinions on a world stage, to satisfied their own ego and sense of importance, create photo albums, join a community, etc. Some people will pay the $10 a month to have a website. As time progresses I think this will increase as more and more people become web aware and want to have their own address/ place on the web. With the highly transitive nature of the human population with greater movement than ever before in the history of the world one of the best ways people will be able to stay in contact with friends will be via the net. Consider how many people from school do you know twenty years later. Have you moved city, state, country, if you have you probably have lost contact with them. If you wanted to track them down how would you? I know I would do it via the web. This will be increasingly easy as people have personal web pages.
In the case of a website for Businesses most companies have a website for further advertising their company, some do have direct sales as well over the net, and some are nothing but internet based businesses, e.g. Ebay. In the case of a website for a business, I would think that what GDI offers is not big enough to meet their needs. Save for a landing page, redirect page or just the Domain name, GDI is aimed at the small internet business user. Thats not necessarily a bad thing but it is fact that has a bearing on the business opportunity. If GDI wants to grow further they will need to look at offering reasonable upgrade packages for the bigger players.
In the case of a small first time business wanting their own website with six pages GDI is not a bad option as it also gives them a source of secondary income.
It has the potential to be a good source of income as each person you bring in gets you $1 a month. Not a huge amount really, you would need 10 people just to pay for you hosting fee, but the winner here its that you get a $1 for each person they introduce down to five levels, the power to leverage the work of those below you is what appeals here. That can result in some good returns. You won't become a millionaire over night, but you can have a great income stream.
You might be thinking, I'm too late and missed the GDI wave. No I don't think so, not at this time this article is written. GDI members now are in the tens of thousands, not until its reaches 100's of millions will the wave subside. I don't think new customers will ever complete dry up either, because each year more and more tech. savey students finish school, and they brought up to believe they each need their own modern gadgets, including mobile phones, e-mailing, and even their own personal website. For kids who are spending $50 plus a month on mobile phones alone, $10 a month for their own website is nothing. I'm waiting for the day you no longer send in a resume into a prospective employer but just give them your web address and they can look up your life themselves. Thus I think the potential of GDI is long term, yes after the initial wave there will be an eventual slowing - there is no such thing as an infinite possiblity - there are 6 Billion people on the planet, once the majority of them is a customer you have reach the finite limit. Any company unless they have plans to further develop a service or introduce new products knows a market does reach a saturation point where growth slows. Not so good for an MLM company as their customers are also their business partners. Any MLM that wants to succeed must either sell a product the needs replacement over time - i.e. tupperware (where did I leave that lid, oh well time to another party and order another), or offer new services or products to the same downlines.
There are numerous ways to advertise GDI online. I myself am no great saleman. I hate cold calling, I hate door knocking, I hate feeling like I am invading someone personal space or coming across as pushy. That's why I love internet advertising. The buyer is in total control, no pushie saleman, don't like the sales pitch go to another site. There are several program set up to advertise GDI for you, programs like turbo GDI and Hits2U, both are cost effective.
In summary, if you need a web host, GDI is a option, particularly in relation to Domain names, if you don't need a web host and don't know someone else who does then its probably not for you.

Pyramid Schemes and Disguised Pyramids!
Here is part of an email I received recently:
Follow the directions below and in two weeks you`ll have at least 2,000 dollarsbecause most people respond due to low investment and high profit potential. Webelieve the return rate is currently as good as 80%!
Just donate five dollars ($5.00) to one 1 person! After the first time, you`ll see how EASY it is and it DOES work! Now let me tell you the simple details!
*Log into your PayPal account, and send $5.00 to the name in the NEXT DUE slot.
*Next, move the PENDING address up into the "NEXT DUE" slot and put your own e-mail address into the"PENDING" slot. After you have retyped the names in the new order, send this e-mail to as many people as possible IMMEDIATELY! (Using a Bulk Email Service will really boost your donations), use blasters, safelists, whatever you have.
DO NOT SPAM - it`s against the LAW.
This is a very basic pyramid scheme. Now, does the person who sent me the email know that this scheme is illegal? I don't think so, because he provides his real name and email ID.
What's ironic is that he warns us not to spam, because spamming would be illegal!
He does offer an interesting rationale for joining the scheme:
"Think of it like a lottery ticket. You put in your $5, and you may or may not win."
The lottery-ticket analogy is appealing, but not correct. In a lottery, every ticket holder has an equal chance of winning. In a pyramid scheme, only the early participants are likely to win. That's why such schemes are illegal!
Scammers have also discovered ways to operate what I call "disguised pyramids". These schemes are legal (or quasi-legal), and are much harder to recognize as scams.
Disguised pyramids
There are a number of different ways to disguise a pyramid scheme. On the internet, the most common method is to have a multi-level affiliate program.
In a single-level affiliate program, you receive a commission if a visitor to your site purchases a product that you are promoting. There is no additional incentive for you to
sign up other affiliates.
In a two-level affiliate program, you receive commission for signing up other affiliates. There may be an up front reward (when the affiliate signs up), and there may be ongoing
incentives. For example, you may receive a small commission of every sale that your downline affiliate makes.
A two-level affiliate program makes sense, because it encourages you to sign up other affiliates. However, you do need to make sure that your market size is large enough to support a large number of affiliates. Otherwise, you end up with too many marketers chasing after too few customers.
A multi-level affiliate scheme with 3 or more levels is really just a pyramid in disguise.
What’s wrong with a pyramid in disguise?
My favorite example of this is Global Domains International (GDI). GDI sells you a domain name plus a small web site for $10 a month. This purchase entitles you to build a downline of affiliates, up to 5 levels deep. You receive $1 for every sale by any of your downline affiliates.
Therefore, if you have 5 affiliates, and they each have 5 affiliates (and so on), you have a pyramid 5 levels deep with a total of 3905 affiliates. Every month, you receive a check for $3905.
Wow! This sounds great! What could possibly be wrong with this?
The problem is the shape of the pyramid. It is very narrow at the top, and very wide at the base. In the example above, there are 5 people at level one, and 3125 people at level five!
Now, GDI claims that there will be 500 Million domains active in the next 10 years. Let’s accept that at face value, and assume that GDI gets 20% of this market that would be 100 million domains. Even this huge number only supports 30,000 people with five-level pyramids! Meanwhile, at the base of these pyramids, 80 million affiliates will be scrambling around, finding it difficult to sign up even one new affiliate!
Even if these numbers are confusing to you, just remember this: only 1 out of every 5 affiliates are making any money. Only 1 out of every 1000 will make serious money.
So what?
Now at least you know the odds of success. You may still decide to join such a scheme. If you work hard, and work smart, you may rise to the top.
Checklist: How to recognize pyramids in disguise
- There are more than 2 levels of commission
- Much more focus on recruiting members (or affiliates) rather than selling product
- The price of the product is way above typical market price.

The Creation of Global Domains International
Global Domains International is rated #37 of the top 500 fastest growing privately held companies in the USA. What this means is that this company is successful. For the customer it means they can trust in this company and ensure their website is secure. Global Domains International sells domain names and hosts websites. A domain name is a websites address. The domain name extension is the part at the end, dot come, for example.
